Can also be made as a hot drink!
1 x frozen banana
2 x florets of frozen cauliflower
1/2 cup of Borough Broth Co Chicken Broth
1/2 tsp miso paste
1/2 cup Hazelnut Milk (we used Innocent)
11/2 tbps Cacao Powder
3/4 tsp maple syrup
2 x dates (or dried figs work too)
1tsp Maca powder
1 tbsp almond butter (we used Meridian Organic Almond butter)
Optional Protein powder - we used Chocolate Plantbased Protein powder for post workout
Pop all your ingredients into a smoothie blender such as a nutribullet or similar and blend on high.
Pour into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings such as fresh fruit, seeds, granola or nut butter.
You can also enjoy this as a hot drink; just blend and then heat in a small pan with a little water to make it a more “drinkable” consistency.
