Jenny Sleath's Chocolate fudge smoothie

Can also be made as a hot drink!


  • 1 x frozen banana

  • 2 x florets of frozen cauliflower

  • 1/2 cup of Borough Broth Co Chicken Broth

  • 1/2 tsp miso paste

  • 1/2 cup Hazelnut Milk (we used Innocent)

  • 1tbsp Lucuma

  • 11/2 tbps Cacao Powder

  • 3/4 tsp maple syrup

  • 2 x dates (or dried figs work too)

  • 1tsp Maca powder

  • 1 tbsp almond butter (we used Meridian Organic Almond butter)

  • Optional Protein powder - we used Chocolate Plantbased Protein powder for post workout


  1. Pop all your ingredients into a smoothie blender such as a nutribullet or similar and blend on high.

  2. Pour into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings such as fresh fruit, seeds, granola or nut butter.

You can also enjoy this as a hot drink; just blend and then heat in a small pan with a little water to make it a more “drinkable” consistency.
